Syllable detection is broken for "it's"

If I use the incorrect grammar, the syllable detection works fine. For example, these lyrics:

Its our day to shine

However, if I use correct grammar, then the syllable detection breaks.

Hookpad incorrect makes two syllables out of the word “It’s”. It breaks it up as
