Whats the difference between Hookpad in the browser and the app?

I installed the hookpad app. But whats the difference between running Hookpad in the browser and using the hookpadapp? What should i use?

By now i noticed no difference. Sometimes i experience crashes with the app (screen gets black)

How do you use hookpad? Does it run more stable in the browser?
