Songwriters need specific note rhythms to go with their lyrics. The way I use Hookpad when songwriting is to put the note rhythm in as just the root notes of the key…… then I move the notes around to get the melody I want , sometimes before I have entered a chord progresssion - sometimes after.
Please allow this workflow of entering a note rhythm after which Aria’s suggested melodies are guaranteed to fit the words.
