- Artist-Style Melody Generation
It would be amazing if Aria could generate melodies based on the musical style of specific artists or songs. By leveraging the TheoryTab database, which already contains a wealth of user-generated content and chord progressions, it would be great to train Aria on the melodic patterns commonly used by particular artists or genres. This could allow songwriters to create melodies that better match the style of their favorite artists or genres, making it easier to craft music in those distinct styles.
- MP3 Integration for Chord Detection and Playback
It would also be extremely helpful to have an MP3 integration feature. The ability to upload an MP3 file and have Aria analyze the song to detect the chords in real-time would be invaluable. This feature could help users quickly identify the harmonic structure of any song, whether for inspiration or learning purposes. Additionally, having the ability to play back the generated chords and melodies against the uploaded MP3, similar to the YouTube integration but with more versatility, would offer a richer and more practical workflow. It would allow users to work directly with their own recordings and test out new ideas in context.
I believe these additions would greatly enhance Aria’s functionality and make it an even more powerful tool for both beginners and advanced musicians alike. Thank you for considering these suggestions!
